TASK
The Stefan Żeromski theatre in Kielce reconstruction and modernization started at the beginning of 2021. First, two outbuildings were to be demolished. The challenge was to remove 3,500 m3 of debris from the city center without damaging the pavement. The investment is planned for more than two years, and the works were initiated with the preparation of access roads.
SOLUTION
Critical places were secured with ROAD SYSTEM road plates. The plates were arranged very efficiently by an experienced construction company. With the possibility of alternate assembly, the plates could be easily adapted to the arches and narrow streets.
RESULT
Trucks with nearly 40 tons, moving around the Kielce promenade many times a day, did not damage the surface. Recycled plastic road plates have served their purpose – they have secured access roads as temporary protection. Once the investment was completed, it will be easy to disassemble the plates with the connectors designed this way – just unscrew two screws. You will be able to use the plates for the next investment.
